Fishing The Cape and
Hardy have now teamed up for the Cape Cod Saltwater
Flyfishing
School. It is dedicated to introducing anglers to the exciting world
of saltwater fly fishing and teaching them the required techniques
for success. The course curriculum emphasizes distance casting,
feeding habits and the favorite prey of bluefish and stripers, saltwater
fly selection, big-game knots, saltwater gear,
safe wading practices and "reading the surf." Cape Cod boasts one
of the most dependable bluefish and striped bass fisheries in the
Northeast. Our school is during the very best part of the
season.
And, our partner - Hardy - has
been key to the world of flyfishing since 1872.
All over the globe, there are people who love to flyfish and in the
universal language of the sport, one name reigns supreme - that of Hardy. For well over a century, Hardy has been renowned as the manufacturer of the
finest game fishing tackle in the world - the name is synonymous with quality
and excellence. Such reputations are not acquired easily, but it has never
faltered throughout the Company's long history. We
use Hardy and their partner brand, Greys, equipment
exclusively in the school.
The three day schools take place right in Chatham at
the Chatham Bars Inn, one of the world's leading
resorts. Lodging is available right at the school location
or at a number of excellent local inns. Tuition is $595 per person
for our 3 day schools (excluding lodging). These rates include lunch,
the use of HARDY
Saltwater Fly Fishing equipment, and ferry service to the fishing
area (when neccessary).
The Cape Cod 2010
